We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Set Designer to join our production team. As a Set Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the construction of sets for film, television, theater, or live events. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, costume designers, lighting technicians, and other members of the creative team to ensure that the visual environment supports the narrative and artistic vision of the production.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, architecture, or fine arts, and possess excellent visualization and communication skills. You should be able to interpret scripts and translate them into compelling visual settings that enhance the storytelling experience. A deep understanding of spatial design, materials, and construction techniques is essential, as is the ability to work within budget and time constraints.
Your responsibilities will include researching historical periods or specific themes, creating sketches and 3D models, selecting materials, and supervising the set construction process. You will also be expected to adapt designs based on feedback and logistical considerations, ensuring that the final set is both functional and aesthetically aligned with the production’s goals.
This role requires a high level of creativity, problem-solving ability, and collaboration. You must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
If you are passionate about visual storytelling and have a keen eye for design, we encourage you to apply and bring your vision to life on stage or screen.
